Ugh. So I totally broke my promise and it's been almost three weeks since I've updated. Bad Holly bad!

This time  though, shockingly, I have an excuse. I'm in SWEDEN! Huzzah! I got here on the 4th of July (haha, I know, ironic, I celebrate my country's independence right next door to Mother England...okay, so across the North Sea, but across the pond was pushing the metaphor [okay, that's so the wrong literary term...] a biittt far). Even more shocking, is the fact that I don't really have anything substantial to complain about.


Hmmm....must be an American thing.


The weather IS bloody hot, but I guess global warming does that. Well, that and the fact that it's just as warm back home, so say's the iGoogle weather tool. It does not lie. -_- Also, I'm pretty sure it's entirely America's fault, considering the fact that we are wasteful pigs. I know, that's hot. Literally. Also, it's weird because the sun sets for maybe an hour, so the first week I was here I woke up everyday at 4AM and thought it was 4PM and I had missed all my classes. Granted, semi-drunken exhaustion has pretty much fixed that problem right up. But, other than that, I seriously have nothing, NOTHING, that I can think to complain about. It's enough to break my cynical, black heart.

At any rate, I figured instead of writing up the thousands of thousands of words I missed, I would just post a handful of pictures...because you know...well, if you don't then you totally missed the joke.

Yeah I know, wit unfortunately does not become of me. I'll post an entry for all the ones I missed, but it'll take me a while people. That, and I'm in goddamned Sweden! But, yeah, I made a promise, so I'm sticking it out. Why? I have no fucking clue. BUT, while I contemplate that, I'll let you enjoy some of the sights from Uppsala. My photography skills are shit, and I haven't even gotten that expansive of a collection yet because I feel like an idiotic tourist taking photos in the city, but I do want to share with everyone back home, so here I am snapping shots.
