Anyways, aside from Basshunter (and ABBA who I had never heard of until coming to Sweden...O.o), I haven't really listened to many Swedish artists. Considering Sweden is the third largest music exporting country in the world, behind the US and UK, and considering the fact that I'm learning Swedish as a second language, I find this pretty pathetic. While I was over at a friends apartment earlier in the week he was giving me some tips on learning another language well and quickly. Aside from telling me to watch my favorite movies in Swedish with and without subtitles and listening to my favorite Disney Princess songs, he also showed me a bunch of Swedish music, which I quite enjoy. A few other friends have let me listen to some of the songs they like, and so I've begun to generate a Swedish playlist. For those of you who wish to take part in the audio delights of Scandinavian music, I've posted the YouTube videos below. I'll write down the playlist too if you want to just take my word for it and illegallydownload -ahem- buy the songs. Sorry this post is short, but I'm in fucking Sweden for God's sake, so sit down, shut up, and enjoy:
