可愛い

...no, I'm not talking about the Hawaiian island... it's spelled "Kauaʻi" you numbnuts. "Kawaii (可愛い)" literally means adorable in Japanese. And the cuteness (not to mention CHEAPNESS) of Japanese products is what I'm going to talk about today. Now, for those of you who don't know me, I am a little obsessed with Asians...and in particular, I really like Japanese culture, probably because American and Japanese pop cultures have a pretty good dialogue going on presently. A few days ago, sadly, I broke one of my Chinese chopsticks. 8( Since I got it when I was maybe thirteen in DisneyWorld (despite my recent ABC boycott, I still love DisneyWorld, I can't help it) at the World Showcase, and because my ability to afford flying to Florida is in the negative range, I turned to the internet and found this awesome store in Oregon;

The chopsticks are pretty damned inexpensive, the only downside is that the shipping and handling to the grand 'ol state of Michigan cost me 2Xs as much as my purchase itself. Meh. But, it's totally worth it, because I got some adorable new chopsticks. =)

Since my first search was such a success, I decided once again to browse the web for Asian vendors. I found three awesome new sites, from which I will probably end up acquiring multiple restraining orders. O.o

 The first website that I found arose from my desire to learn how to make bubble (aka boba) milk tea. I love that shit, would drink it by the gallon if I could. Incredible. Also incredibly sugary, but what the hell. I still haven't found the website, but I really like this one and am considering getting the tapioca and boba sago pearls for when I try out fixing some milk tea for myself.

Though, the inescapable final result will undoubtedly end up with me racing off to the local bubble tea vendor and stocking up.

So, I have this strong aversion to cloth lunch boxes, you know, the ones made of cheap plastic with velcro pouches? God, so freaking gross. They retain the scent of ROT. Fucking disgusting. I use to take paper lunch bags to school, but now that survival in modern society necessitates environmental consciousness, I have been taking tupperware because I couldn't find a cool enough tin lunch box (shockingly WalMart's Hannah Montana lunch box was NOT appealing). As I'm sure you can imagine, my food organization obsession (yes, I'm  the kid who organizes her skittles and M&Ms before eating, the person who eats one thing at a time on her plate) combined with my extreme aversion to lunch sacks, has made me fall head over heels for bento boxes. Granted, I still can't make a damned rice ball, let alone homemade bento, but still. So freaking adorable! And, I found this fantastic website;

http://justbento.com/

Just Bento is great because it gives you bento recipes, products, and a ton of links to other websites that carry bento supplies. I love it- perfect for someone like myself who is enamored with foreign food and has the cooking skills of a brain-dead lemming lacking opposable thumbs. And, through Just Bento, I found possible my most favorite website ever!!!!! Huzzah!!!

So freaking cute!!!! Everything. I'm going to be a girl right now, and do an internet squeal.

OMG!!!!!!

 Whew, okay, now that that is out of the way, back to being my normal Prozacky bitchy self (okay, so maybe a little happier...seriously, this website is awesome). And no, there are not enough superlatives to describe the epic wonder this site offers. Of course it has bento boxes, but it basically has every other adorable thing you could ever want. Mother of God I love it. XD So, check it out. Okay? Because if you don't I will find you and hurt you.

Fo realzies.

I don't see that internet tab open.

Come on, it's a simple matter of copy-and-paste.

>:p

Do it.

All the cool kids are.

You have five seconds.

Don't turn around, trust me.

o__O

Oh, and if you were wondering, I'm still broke, got about one Benjamin in my bank account (had to pay for my -ahem- Sweden study abroad tuition...yes I'm stoked, and yes this means I will be poor for the rest of the summer...totally worth it though).  Rock on. m>.
