What ho!?! A great tragedy has befallen my humble and tiny telly family. Now, I rarely flop on the couch and stare at our huge ass LCD television screen (granted, I quite frequently flop on the couch and pull out a rice crispy treat from the sofa pillow o__O). But, shockingly, there are a few light entertainment programs that I quite enjoy. One of these is Legend of the Seeker. Now, now, I understand that many individuals think that fantasy and scifi series, well, to state it frankly, suck. I however, cannot help but delight in the cheesy triumph of many of these series. Star Trek, The Adventures of Sinbad, Ocean Girl, yada yada yada. I know, total cheese. Back the fuck off.

Legend of the Seeker has phenomenal battle scenes and (well, at least in the first season) damn good writing with interesting character development (bonus!). The special effects and picture quality are on a cinematic caliber, which is cool to see on the boob-tube. And the actors are incredible. I mean, just incredible. Granted, the story line only loosely follow Terry Goodkind's novel, however, I've read the book, and honestly feel that the first season was better than the book itself. Aside from Bones and my animes, this is the only series currently on television I actually watch. And it is the ONLY series I watch on a regular basis. And now that the homely is over, let's get to the funeral.

This fucking blows. I mean, really- what does ABC have to offer? Secret Life of the American Teenager? Jesus, please. What a fucking joke. Talk about the degeneration of the intelligence of the general population. LotS is gone! GONE!!! How shall I carry on? Can I, with such terrible pain in my heart? This really sucks. I hate the fact that a great series just is -bam!- gone. I mean, the second season is definately the hardest for all of the scifi/fantasy series out there. The origional Star Trek only lasted 2 seasons though, and it ended up becoming a monstrous cult favorite. So, here's hoping. I totally signed up on all of the online petitions. If ABC doesn't pick this series up again, I might just disown Disney because seriously, I'm fucking sick and tired of the degeneration of the Disney line. What happened to the wholesome, adventurous Disney line that I grew up with? Now we have shit humor, shittier actors, and shittier series. And FINALLY something worth watching comes out and what happens? The crack heads at ABC cancel it. I hope those whale raping shitcunts get royally butt-fucked on their way home tonight. I mean, I don't really know if it is within their domain to rescue the show, but regardless those fat bastards deserve that butt-fucking for letting this DIAMOND go. Asswipes. Apparently, if a television show wants to survive, the actors have to suck, the writing has to involve multiple sex plots, break-ups, cheating, get-togethers, the characters have to be shallow and underdeveloped, and the plot, character interactions, and comedy have to be absolutely fucking retarded. Ultimately, and upsettingly, I feel that I will probably end up being resigned to reading the "Gay for Kahlan" fanfiction.... o__O
